There are several social and competitive paths offered at Blaha’s Dance Studio.

Social Nightclub Program

Start dancing immediately by learning the first steps of today’s most popular dances.  This introductory program will allow you to see what it will take to become the type of dancer you want to be.  It offers a taste of what is available to you through the studio.

Private Lesson

Taking a private lesson means that Mr. Blaha is teaching one student or couple at a time.  You will work at your own pace and learn the style or styles of dancing you prefer.  Private lessons are available by appointment Monday thru Friday.

Group Lessons

In group lessons the emphasis is on learning a predetermined variety of dances.  Group lessons provide an opportunity to dance with different partners, an important part of becoming a good dancer.  Couples and singles are welcome in the group setting. You are welcome to begin forming your own group lessons.

Party Practice Sessions

The purpose of weekly dance parties is to allow students to use their newly acquired skills in a social setting with other singles and couples.  We consider these parties to be ‘Practice Sessions.’  Mr. Blaha and his students participate and take pleasure in helping newcomers. Call George Blaha at (361) 894-2773 or (830) 494-1636 for party practice sessions.

Price

A sample lesson is available for $20.00. (Must be 18 or accompanied by an adult.) After the Introductory program, you may purchase lessons one at a time or no more than FOUR in advance. No long range obligations, stay as long as you like.
